Erne Canal
The objective of the Erne Canal Regeneration Project is to determine if extending the Erne Canal maritime link from Beleek to Donegal Bay is feasible from technical, socio-economic and environmental perspectives.
Donegal County Council commissioned Doran Consulting and Roger Tym and Partners to carry out technical and socio-economic feasibility studies respectively. An Environmental Impact Statement is underway and will be available shortly from Doran Consulting.
